My Teaching Approach

I believe that a friendly and supportive learning environment makes a significant difference to a student's progress. I encourage my students to discuss their difficulties openly, ask questions freely, and work through challenging problems without hesitation.

My teaching is interactive and tailored to each student's learning needs. I explain concepts carefully, identify areas that require additional attention, and guide students through the reasoning behind each solution rather than simply providing answers. My goal is to help them develop the confidence and skills to solve problems independently.

Online IB Math AA HL Tuition

I offer one-to-one and small-group online Mathematics tuition for IB Math AA HL students. Small groups of 2–5 students are formed from students attending the same school, allowing them to learn together, exchange ideas, and benefit from individual attention.

I cover the syllabus systematically, giving particular attention to topics and concepts that students find challenging. Where the student's starting point and progress permit, I aim to complete chapters ahead of the school's teaching schedule. This gives students an opportunity to strengthen their understanding before tackling class assignments and worksheets independently.

Joining at the beginning of the IB Diploma Programme provides the best opportunity to follow this approach throughout the course. After completing the syllabus, students are encouraged to practise past papers and other questions under timed conditions to develop examination readiness.

Learning Through Understanding

For me, teaching Mathematics is not simply about helping students arrive at the correct answer. It is about helping them understand why a method works, recognise mathematical patterns, make logical connections, and apply their knowledge to unfamiliar problems.

I want my students to become independent thinkers who can approach challenging questions methodically and face their examinations with confidence. I believe that genuine understanding, consistent practice, and a supportive learning environment together provide a strong foundation for mathematical success.

A Personal Note

I value the relationship I build with each student and believe that effective learning begins with understanding the student's individual needs. Parents are welcome to contact me regarding their child's learning requirements or progress.

I primarily teach Indian students and children of Non-Resident Indian (NRI) families living in India and overseas, while also welcoming students from other backgrounds. As I teach online, scheduling depends on the availability of both the student and the teacher, including time-zone differences.

For teaching, I use the Bitpaper interactive whiteboard and Google Meet for audio and video, creating an online environment where students and I can work through mathematical problems together.
